Overview
This UCARE LevelUp webinar focuses on the diverse clinical presentations of Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, including atypical symptoms, skin lesion patterns, treatment implications, and histaminergic isolated angioedema.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Describe key non–mast cell pathways involved in chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), including coagulation, complement activation, cellular recruitment, and autoimmune mechanisms.
- Explain the role of coagulation and complement pathways in the pathogenesis and clinical expression of CSU.
- Discuss how recruited inflammatory cells may contribute to disease activity, persistence, and heterogeneity in CSU.
- Differentiate autoimmune mechanisms relevant to CSU and relate them to current concepts of disease endotypes.
- Integrate emerging pathogenic concepts beyond mast cell activation into clinical reasoning, patient stratification, and future therapeutic perspectives for CSU.
