About Assistant Professor Dr. Steven P. Grover

UNC Blood Research Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA

Dr. Steven P. Grover is an Assistant Professor at the UNC Blood Research Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research investigates the molecular mechanisms of blood coagulation, particularly the role of the contact activation pathway in thrombosis.

Using experimental models, his group studies how coagulation factors such as FXII, FXI, and their regulator C1 inhibitor contribute to thrombus formation and control of thrombin generation. Dr. Grover’s work aims to identify new therapeutic targets for preventing and treating thrombotic disorders while preserving normal hemostasis.
