Dr. Polina Pyatilova is a dermatologist and physician–scientist at the Institute of Allergology (IFA), Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin (corporate member of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Berlin Institute of Health), Berlin, Germany, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology (ITMP), Immunology and Allergology, Berlin, Germany. Her work focuses on mast cell – driven diseases, including mastocytosis and urticaria, with a strong emphasis on digital health, real-world evidence, and patient-centered care.

She is actively involved in developing innovative approaches to bridge clinical care and research, including digital tools for standardized symptom monitoring and patient-reported outcomes in rare diseases. Her work aims to translate complex disease mechanisms into practical strategies that improve diagnosis, long-term disease control, and quality of life for patients.

Dr. Pyatilova completed her residency in dermatology and venereology and became a board-certified dermatologist in 2015. She received her doctoral degree in 2019 with a focus on diagnostic algorithms in mastocytosis. Since 2021, she has been working at Charité at the interface of clinical practice and translational research.

She is an active member of several international networks, including EADV, EMBRN, ADF, ECNM, and WAO, and serves as Junior Member Representative of the Dermatology Section within EAACI. She is also engaged in international collaborations advancing education, research, and patient empowerment in mast cell disorders.
