Vito Sabato serves as Senior Staff Member Department of Immunology – Allergology – Rheumatology at Antwerp University Hospital and is Associate Professor at University of Antwerp. His clinical and research interests are focused on primary mast cell disorders, anaphylaxis, drug hypersensitivity, autoinflammatory disorders and. He coordinates the local EAACI Centre of Excellence and Mastocytosis Center of Excellence which belongs to the European Competence Network on Mastocytosis (ECNM). He is Senior Clinical Investigator of the Flemish Research Council and acts as PI of several clinical trials on mastocytosis, urticaria, anaphylaxis, drug allergy and autoinflammatory disorders. He is  serving as Chair of the Mast Cell Diseases WG of the EAACI.
